Pucci: Peter Dundas gives Pucci a complete makeover– a Balmain makeover

Blumarine: Anna Molinari, no leopard for me, but thanks for the cheery Versace vibe

Alessandro Dell’Acqua: some sweet Waterworld netting with a little Burberry bourgeois

Versace: Donatella invests in some half-belts, little embellishment and cheery colors

Pollini: Jonathan Saunders does equestrian baroque chic…cool silhouettes that are almost better than his own collection

MaxMara: Classic, recession proof. Ingrid Bergman used to buy these coats all the time.

Dsquared2: The Olsens & S. Meisel could have done it better, but the Starbucks made me smile…

Dolce & Gabbana: Bold shoulders but so-so collection. It’s telling when I prefer to look at the make up instead. Too literal…

I thought this was a joke until I saw it on BBC News. Snoop Dogg has joined the Nation of Islam.

“It’s just about the way I live, and I live how I’m supposed to live as far as doing what’s right and representing what’s right – that’s why I was here today,” Snoop said.

The strangest thing is that he apparently has been a part of the Nation of Islam for a while now, and it has only just been revealed to the public.

Snoop’s fine, but my favorite Muslim rapper (or at least Muslim raised) is Lupe. Some of my faves:

It’s the same silhouette, the same trendiness that has ruled Gucci since Frida Giannini has taken over Gucci. Of course, she should be applauded for her consistency, but I am a little bored by the clothes. That’s not to say that the clothes aren’t wearable, though– all of them are. I’m expecting a lot of Topshop and Forever 21 ripoffs from this collection….
